About the 2025 event
Africa Health Awards & Summit
We are pleased to announce that the 2025 Africa Health Awards and Summit (AHAS2025) will take place on the 24th and 25th of April. The Africa Health Awards and Summit has become a unique platform where thought-leading healthcare professionals gather to share, learn, benchmark, collaborate, and celebrate excellence in healthcare from across the globe in formal and informal settings.
It provides the opportunity to showcase innovative ways of enhancing health care across the board in clinical, education, research and technological advancement. We will be hosting this summit with industry leaders to share progress and insights into the future of healthcare with focused plenary sessions on Thursday, the 24th of April 2025.

We are excited to share that the 2025 Africa Health Summit and Awards (AHAS 2025) will take place on Thursday 24th and Friday the 25th of April in Praia, Cape Verde.
Theme: Advancing the One-Health Approach: Safeguarding Africa’s Health and the Planet.
We are hosting the summit this year on Thursday the 24th. April runs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Cape Verde is an island nation located in the central Atlantic Ocean with a total land area of roughly 4,033 square kilometres (1,557 square miles). Its capital, Praia, is situated on the southern coast of Santiago Island, about 650 kilometres (400 miles) west of Dakar, Senegal, which lies on the Cape Verde Peninsula, the westernmost point of mainland Africa. Cape Verde is part of the Macaronesia ecoregion, which also includes the Azores, Canary Islands, Madeira, and the Savage Isles.
